In a simple survey by GallUp where ciitizens from each country were asked a simple question; 'Is corruption widespread throughout the government in this country, or not?'
The US-based pollster conducted phone interviews in countries with a free press, as indicated by Freedom House's press freedom rankings, asking respondents whether they believed corruption was widespread in the government of their country.
As this chart from statista shows, 90 per cent of people in Lithuania said 'yes' to this question with Ghana ranking 3rd with majority of it citizens saying the government is very corrupt.
