The match of the day " Sunderland ? - ? Liverpool "

Sunderland vs Liverpool
As the mid-point of the Premier League season approaches, alarm bells must be ringing at Sunderland. Aston Villa seem to be cut adrift at the bottom of the table, but Sam Allardyce's side are just four points above the basement outfit and now seven points off 17th position following a poor run of form in the league.

Back-to-back wins over Crystal Palace and Stoke City in November seemed to suggest that Sunderland were heading in the right direction under Allardyce, but it has been a miserable December thus far, with four straight losses dropping the club into 19th as 2015 draws to a close.

Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale or Bisa Kdei? - Who Wins Artiste of the Year 2015

Stonebowy Shatta Wale and Bisa Kdei
Which artist did it for me this year? That’s an easy one: It’s Bisa, sorry, Stonebwoy…no, Gasmilla…EL rather. But Sarkodie’s too…almighty Shatta Wale even…

Hold on…what makes an artist deserving of that title anyway, in your opinion? Is it the one who claimed every award? Is it that one who had the biggest hit? Maybe for you, it was the one the one who, through charisma and energy, has manipulated audiences all year. Or perhaps it’s a combination of some, or all the above. Anyway…

Leicester City went level on points with Premier League leaders Arsenal after drawing 0-0 with title rivals Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

Jamie Vardy wasted Leicester's best chance late in the first half while Manchester City, who have not won away in the league since mid-September, went close through Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Otamendi.

The match to watch' Leicester City vs Manchester City '

Leicester City vs Manchester City

There is only one question clubs in Leicester City’s position are ever asked. When will your bubble burst?

It is put with a kind of glee, as if the Premier League can only be taken seriously when it returns to its “big four” normality, and when the final whistle went at Anfield on Boxing Day, perhaps those inquisitors could hear the gas escaping from the balloon.

Neither Jamie Vardy nor Riyad Mahrez, the two men most responsible for propelling the club to the summit of the Premier League, finished the 1-0 defeat at Liverpool. Vardy was unwell and Mahrez was exhausted.

Stoke City and Manchester United
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal's future was plunged into serious doubt on Saturday as his side lost at Stoke City, while title-chasing Arsenal crashed to a demoralising 4-0 defeat at Southampton.

United have now gone seven games without victory in all competitions – their worst run since 1989-90 – and speculation is rife that Van Gaal will pay for their slump with his job.

He had described the match as "must-win", but his side were deservedly beaten 2-0 at a windswept Britannia Stadium after Bojan Krkic punished a Memphis Depay error to open the scoring in the 19th minute before Marko Arnautovic slammed home a brilliant second goal seven minutes later.

But we do expect that having voted him into power, he would be able to hire people capable of handling their jobs well, as they are a reflection on him. This incident is a clear indication that, a lot of times, people amongst us are part of what’s really wrong with this country.
