Boateng could go back to Sweden

 Former Black Star regular Derek Boateng may be seen in the colours of a Swedish side soon.

Boateng has confirmed that he has spoken to former club AIK in Sweden and could sign for them in the ongoing Scandinavian transfer window.

Having played there before, in 2003, the Ghana midfielder left to Israel. "AIK are interested, personal talks have started and they are also in contact with my agent,” Boateng told Soccer Direct.

“I have always followed AIK and I have never lost interest in the club since I left and it will be great to be back.”
