“What we need in Ghana today is someone who can change the economy, someone who can bring jobs and if it is jobs, [then] it is not Nana Akufo-Addo the lawyer, it is not Mahama the communicator, it is Papa Kwesi Nduom Edwumawura who will bring the jobs,” he told a crowd at Ashiaman in the greater Accra region as part of his campaign tour on Friday July 15, 2016.

He urged electorates to vote the PPP to power during the November 2016 polls to alleviate their plight through job creation.

“If I look around, not much has changed. When I talk to the people here, everybody agrees that there is a need for change no matter their political affiliations. I am standing here and suggesting strongly that it is time for proper change, so that in the next four years you will not be in the same situation. As our slogan goes if you need to do anything, you must do it well (Pre Papa Preko),” he urged.

Dr. Nduom, who paid a courtesy call on the traditional leaders at Ashaiman, further requested support for the PPP’s parliamentary aspirant for the area in the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, the PPP is set to initiate the processes to bring their touted real change on Saturday July 16 with their third national convention to be held at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.

Dr. Nduom is expected to be unveiled as the presidential candidate for the 2016 election.
