Medeama |
It was the third game for the Ghanaian side after previously losing 3-1 at TP Mazembe and drawing blank at home with M.O Beijia.
The Ghanaian side went into the game with the hope of shocking the host but they got stunned early in the game after Young African’s shot into the lead through Donald Ngoma.
Medeama then re-strategized and threw a lot of bodies upfront, the persistent pressure from the away side paid off as Bernard Ofori pulled even for the visitors in the 19th minute.
With the first half ending 1-1, both sides went all gun blazing in search for the match winner in the second but they fluffed the chances they created as the game failed to produce any more goals.
The Mauve and Yellows are still third in the Group with two points.
