Mahama's FORD Gift...CPP Suspends Gen Sec & Youth Organiser!

CPP General Secretary, Nii Armah Akomfrah
Peacefmonline.com can confirm that the leadership of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), has suspended the party's General Secretary Nii Armah Akomfrah and National Youth Organiser Ernesto Yeboah.

We can authoritatively confirm that the decision to suspend the two, has to do with the Ford gift car to President John Dramani Mahama by a Burkinabe contractor.

The party's flagbearer, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, during an IEA Evening Encounters for Presidential candidates hinted Ernesto Yeboah could be suspended for taking a unilateral decision on the issue without recourse to the party hierarchy

The suspended CPP National Youth Organiser has petitioned the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) demanding investigations into a gift to President John Mahama.

Ernesto Yeboah, who leads the CPP Youth League, accused the President of conflict of interest after Joy News investigations revealed that the President received a Ford Expedition from the Burkinabe contractor in 2012.
