Speaking on the AM Pluzz show with Sammy Flex, the “scent No” hit maker disclosed that he is a political musician for the records.
In explaining that, he says that he is not blessed like Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba who are so good with singing love songs. So to survive, he does political songs to deal with issues around us that need solving.
According to Sydney, even though he doesn’t do partisan politics with his career, he will gladly accept any offer from a political party to produce songs for them.
The “African Money” artiste further revealed that the biggest money he earned with a political song didn’t come from any Ghanaian political party, instead, Equatorial Guinea.
Barima Sydney is currently on a promotional tour to announce a new movement he just formed called “Mutashi” to alert Ghanaian youth to arise to become politically conscious.
